Easter Egg Hunt

So we went to the Easter egg hunt on post yesterday and had a blast! We were so shocked at how well Emily did! As soon as they said the children could start she started crawling and collecting her eggs. She would grab two and put them in her bag. She had her bag overflowing in less than five minutes. It was really nice because they only had the 0-2year olds on one field that was covered in eggs. Last year they said they laid out 42,000 eggs!!! We finished off our day going to a pond on post to visit Daddy who was participating in a Ham Radio Contest. Grandma and Grandpa Thomas came into town so they could see Emily at the Easter egg hunt.

My baby is finally one!!! I can't believe how fast it's gone. I am so glad that I have a beautiful, happy, healthy little girl!!!

Emily's First Birthday Party

Yesterday we had Emily's first birthday party!!! It was a lot of hard work putting it together but it was well worth it! We had around 40-50 people there(almost all of Ryan's family) and a good number of kids. I am really thankful for all of the love and support our families have given us this past year. My Valentines Day

I had a fantastic Valentines Day!!! My hubby got me lots of chocolate and The Princes Bride. I've had a cold for most of the week but that didn't stop us from going out and having fun!!!! We left early in the morning and drove down to Orlando. We wen't to HamFest in the early afternoon and then we drove down to Downtown Disney and walked around. I really had a great time spending the day with my wonderful hubby and beautiful baby girl!!! On our way home we wen't to Panera Bread and I got my favorite baked potato soup!! So after a long day we finally got home and Emily stayed up till 11:30!!! Even though we spent most of the day sitting in the car driving I'd have to say this has been my best Valentines Day yet!!!! I love my hubby!!!!

The Claar Curse Lives On!!!!

Welcome Gabriella Maria Sharpe to the family!!! She is such a cute baby!! I was completely shocked when I saw her black hair and dark complexion!! I didn't think it was possible for a Claar girl to spit out a child with such dark features!!! Emily loves her new cousin. She was a little jealous when I held her at the hospital but she got over it quickly when I let her kiss the baby!!! I can't wait to see her again and I am so proud of my sister!!!

So I can't believe my baby is going to be one in a month!! This past week I stayed at Jenn's house while she was at the hospital and took care of Keira. Emily wanted to be a big girl just like her!!! If Keira had a cup Emily wanted it. If Keira had a pacifier Emily wanted it. If Keira was eating something Emily wanted it. I had a blast spending time with my family and welcoming Gabriella. Daddy's Girl

Emily has come to the conclusion that Daddy is a lot more fun than Mommy!!!! Instead of cuddling with Mommy all day(like she used too!!!) she likes to play with Daddy in his man cave!!!(the computer/radio room!) She gets to talk to old guys on the radio and chew on all the cool looking cords that are all over the room!!! My sweet baby who only wanted her Mommy for the longest time has officially become a Daddy's Girl. Bump Mama she will only say Dada and Dogdog now!!!! Okay so I really enjoy the free time now that she only likes to be with her Daddy but I still miss my cuddling sessions with my baby!!! So this is a picture of Emily in the computer chair that Ryan took while I was sleeping the other night!!!( they stayed up playing on the radio till midnight!!!)
