Ryan and me decided that we just couldn't wait another day to open our presents!!! We originally planned on opening presents on Monday before we went to Augusta. Emily wouldn't stop trying to eat her presents so I gave up and let her open them!! And of course we had to open ours as well!! My wonderful hubby got me a really nice charm bracelet with Emily's birthstone on it!!!
We were really bored yesterday so we decided to pack up Emily and go somewhere. We decided to go to Fort McAllistar which is a state park that has a civil war fort on it. Of course we didn't bother to look at the directions before we went so it took us one and a half hours to get there when it normally would only take fifty minutes!!! We had to pay to get into the park but we didn't know that we had to pay four dollars a person to go into the museum and the fort. We were really bumbed that we drove there for nothing!! But thankfully they had a little park and some picnic tables and we decided to play for a little while!! Emily loved going down the slide and went on the swings for the first time!!!
Today was just like any other day. We woke up(extremely early!!!!) cleaned the house and went to Walmart. When we got home I decided to put Emily on the slide for the first time. We got the jungle gym from our neighbor who was moving about a month and a half ago. Since it's been really nice out we decided to play outside again. Of course Emily loved it!! You can tell in her picture she has a big smile on her face. When I went to take a picture of her and Ryan he put her upside down on the slide. She didn't care for that much so we promptly ended our outside activity.

Emily and Wesson after a hard days work! Last night we found Emily cuddled up on Wesson on our bed. Ryan tolled me that she had her arms wrapped around him!! He is her best friend in the whole wide world!!!
Today felt just like April! It was so nice outside! Emily, Wesson, and I took a walk today and we really enjoyed it. Of course Wesson was excited because he got to wear his leash. We also went to the library this morning for story time. They read the Gingerbread man and Emily made a Christmas chain!( I did most of the work but she helped me out a little by eating the chain and making sure it was ripe!) Here are some pictures of Emily at different stages of our walk.
Our day started around 9 a.m.!!!!! Emily finally let us sleep in! I couldn't believe it! After we got ready for the day we went to story time at our local library. And of course Emily had one of her nasty teething poos!!! She had a great time looking at all of the big kids! She colored a picture for her Daddy! We then hurried home and picked Ryan up and brought him to Savannah to take an exam. I finally got to go to Michaels while we waited for him to finish. It was so...nice!!(I love Michaels!!!) We went to a couple more stores and bought Ryan's mom a Christmas present. Overall I've really enjoyed my day!! I finally got out of the house!!!(YAY!!!)
Just in case you read my profile and were wondering who Wesson was this is his story.....
Wesson was born the same month that Ryan and me were married. We got him in April when he was around 7 to 9 weeks old. He is a handsome black pug!! He loves food, walks, and cuddling with his mommy!(oh and he is in love with his grandma claar!!!)
So we put up our Christmas tree the week before thanksgiving! Emily was excited of course until the big bad tree bit her!! Last night we put some presents under it and set up her train. Of course being a nine month old she is really curious so of course she went straight for the colorful presents under the tree! They are her new favorite chew toys!!! Wesson is naturally afraid of the train so it's really noisy when we turn it on!
We just got back from visiting our families in Augusta last night! Ryan's mom and me had fun shopping while the guys worked on Ryan's truck. Saturday I took Emily to get her Christmas pictures!!! I met my mom and sister Steph(and the kids) so they could see Emily in her beautiful dress. It took us three hours to take her pictures and order them!!
My name is Rebecca Thomas and I am a new stay at home mom!!! Ryan and me were married in the Columbia South Carolina Temple March 31, 2006. We currently live in Hinesville, Ga while Ryan finishes up school. We have a beautiful baby girl Emily Grace who is 8 1/2 months old. And I can't forget our handsome son Wesson Thomas!!
